3. Scroll down to Software and click on FactoryTalk View ME. In the Search box,

type Patch TOC and click Search.

In the search results, look for Patch TOCs related to all the products you installed from

the FactoryTalk View installation DVD. If necessary, conduct additional searches for

other newly-installed applications, including:

 FactoryTalk Services Platform

 RSLinx Enterprise

 RSLinx Classic

Activate the FactoryTalk View software

For continuous use of FactoryTalk View Machine Edition and other Rockwell Automation

products, computers running the software must have access to activation files. Activation

is not required for PanelView Plus 7, PanelView Plus 6, PanelView Plus, and PanelView

Plus CE terminals.

To manage and provide activations for FactoryTalk View software components, use the

FactoryTalk Activation Manager software installed with FactoryTalk View.
