About the Board

The 1799ER-IQ10XOQ10 is a dual-port Ethernet 20-point I/O board that

communicates via an Ethernet/IP network. 1799ER modules support Star, Tree, Linear

and Ring topologies.

This board has 10 inputs and 10 outputs, with an optional 10-output expansion module

(1799-OQ10X). Inputs are 24V DC sourcing or sinking. Outputs are self-protected 24V

DC sinking or sourcing.

EtherNet/IP networks use advanced network technology, for example,

producer/consumer communication, to increase network functionality and throughput.

Module Identification

IMPORTANT

It is recommended that the I/O board be mounted with input and output

connectors facing up as shown in the illustrations throughout

this publication.
