User Rights Description

This right: Enables the userto:

Communications Configuration Insert new communication devices, delete existing communication devices, and modify the

configuration of selected communication devices.

Note: The Communications Configuration right is not required to select from the list of

communication devices or to view the configuration of an existing communication device.

Download Master Configure the download parameters and download programs from the master library to a

processor on the network.

Edit Batch Parameters Create new batch files, delete existing batch files, and use the file utilities to manage batch

files.

With the Edit Batch Parameters right, you can also insert and delete batch entries on the

Batch UploadandComparescreen andmodify the parameters onthe ConfigurationUpload

and Compare Parameters screen.

Note: The Edit Batch Parameters right is not required to view the list of batch

files or to view the parameters associated with batch entry.

Edit Report Format Change thereportconfigurationparametersontheReportingConfigurationscreen.Youcan

also create new reportformats, deletecurrent reportformats, anduse fileutilities tomanage

report formats.

Note: The Edit Report Format right is not required to view report formats or to select a new

report format.

Edit Schedule Parameters Create new schedule files, delete existing schedule files, and use thefile utilities tomanage

schedule files. With the Edit Schedule Parameters right, you can also modify a schedule

description, add or delete a batch file entry into the schedule, and change the parameters

on the Configure Schedule Parameters screen.

Note: The Edit Schedule Parameters right is not required to view the list of schedule files

or to view batch entries and parameters associated with a schedule.

Run Schedule Run a schedule file from the Batch Actions menu.

Note: The Run Schedule right is not required to view the schedules and log files.

Update Master Approve a file into the master library, delete a master file from the master library, and use

file utilities to manage master files.

Note: The Update Master right is not required to view the contents of the master library.

Immediate Action Configure and execute single actions and run batches from the Batch Actions menu.

Note: When you remove Immediate Action rights, you can only execute scheduled actions.

Note: The Immediate Action right is not required to view the batch and log files.
