Chapter 1 Prepare the PanelView Plus Terminal Hardware

Complete the following steps to assign an IP address to the PanelView Plus terminal.

1. Apply power to the PanelView Plus terminal.

2. When the initial PanelView Plus

terminal configuration screen

appears on the terminal, press [F4]

on the keypad to access the

terminal settings.

3. Press the direction arrows and

Enter button on the keypad to

navigate this path and access the IP

address: Networks and

Communications>Network

Connections>Network Adaptors>Built-in Ethernet Controller>IP Address [F2].

4. Press IP address [F1].

5. Use the numbers on the keypad to assign an IP address to the PanelView Plus terminal.

6. Press the Enter button on the keypad twice.

7. Press Subnet Mask [F2].

8. Use the numbers on the keypad to assign a subnet mask to the PanelView Plus terminal.

9. Press Enter.
