Who Should Use This Manual?

Use this manual if you are responsible for using the 1203-SSS

converter to install, wire, program, or troubleshoot control systems.

This manual is intended for qualified service personnel responsible

for using the 1203-SSS converter. You must have previous experience

with and a basic understanding of electrical terminology,

programming procedures, required equipment, required software,

networking, and safety precautions.

Purpose of this Manual

This manual is a learning and reference guide for the Smart

Self-powered Serial converter. It describes the procedures needed to
