The Set Shift Bit output instruction sets a specified bit in a bit shift register
such as that shown in Figure 14.8. The user specifies the bit number of the
bit to be set and the starting address of the file. The instruction executes
upon a true-rung condition.
NOTE: If file is shifted, new data in the same bit position will be set if set
shift bit rung is still true.
