Rename File(s) lets you perform the following actions:
• rename a single file within the same directory.
• move a single file to a different drive and/or directory. You may specify a
new filename for the copy or retain the original filename. Note that this is
a move and not a copy. Only a single copy of the file will exist when the
move is complete (See page 8 – 5).
• move multiple files to a different drive and/or directory. Original file
names will always be retained when moving multiple files.
To rename or move the selected file(s), move the cursor to Rename File(s)
and press [↵ ]. The Rename Files pop-up window will open.

Renaming or moving single files
To rename or move your selection to a new drive and/or directory, type the
destination in the Rename Files pop-up window in the form:
Drive:\directory\filename
To rename your selection without moving it type only the new filename in
the Rename Files pop-up window in the form:
filename
Press [↵ ] to accept the new name.
