Prepare the PowerFlex 40 Drive Hardware Chapter 1

Set the Drive Operation, Node Address, and Communication Rate

1. Set the drive operation mode by

inserting the mode jumper in the

right-side position on the

DeviceNet adapter.

This quick start uses Single

Drive operation.

2. Use the node switches to set the

node address.

This quick start uses node

address 2.

a. Push the switches up to open

them, that is, set to 1.

b. Push the switches down to close them, that is, set to 0.

c. Use the following table to set the node address to node number 2.
