State Condition/Possible Cause Corrective Action
No input power on the mains input
Input mains v oltage low
Input mains connections faulty
Failed internal fuse
Check that the mains input voltage, on the IntelliVAC
MC unit is within the operating voltage range defined
in the Electrical Specification.
Check the connections to the mains input voltage.
If the mains input voltage is present, check the
internal fuse.
Invalid MC address selected
MC address is invalid
Set the MC address to either 2,3,4 or 5. Addresses
0,1,6 or 7 are inv alid and will not be displayed on the
7-segment LED display of the IntelliVAC MC module.
DeviceNet Troubleshooting Procedures
The following table identifies possible causes and corrective actions
when troubleshooting IE related faults using the DeviceNet Network
Status LED.

State Condition/Possible Cause Corrective Action
There is no pow er from the mains input
or from DeviceNet.
1. Low input mains voltage
2. Input mains connections faulty
3. DeviceNet connections faulty
4. No/low DeviceNet input power
5. No/low DeviceNet input power and
mains input power present
Check that the mains input voltage is within the
operating voltage range defined in the Electrical
Specification.
Check the connections to the mains input voltage.
Check the DeviceNet connections.
Check that the DeviceNet input power (if present) is
within the operating voltage range defined in the
Electrical specification.
If there is no DeviceNet power and the mains input
voltage is present, check the internal fuse.

Determining network baud rate
1. IntelliVAC Plus is on-line but not
allocated to a master.
Check DeviceNet master and its scan list for correct
scanner configuration.

Reset DeviceNet master device.
solid
Bus Off or Duplicate address or Invalid
baud
Diagnostics test failed on power-up reset.
Internal fault exists.
Duplicate DeviceNet node address exists
(two DeviceNet nodes cannot hav e the
same address).
Invalid baud rate (if autobaud is disabled).
Cycle power to the unit and network. If the fault still
exists, replace the IntelliVAC Plus unit.
Change the value of Parameter 57, NonVol MAC ID,
to a valid address and reset the device.
This will only occur if Parameter 55,
AutoBaudEnable, is set to ‘disabled’. Set Parameter
55 to ‘enabled’ and reset the IntelliVAC Plus unit or
set Parameter 56, NonVol Baud Rate, to the correct
setting and reset the IntelliVAC Plus unit.
