Description of Features 4-45
1503-UM054C-EN-P – June 2013
For the 7-segment LED display, the ‘Watchdog Timeout’ and the
‘System Lock-Out State’ will have the highest priority with the
‘Watchdog Timeout’ being the higher of the two.
If there are multiple MC faults, then the highest MC fault, only, will
be displayed on the 7-segment display.
Note: See Figure 4.1 for the 7-segment LED display
Note that all of the Fault codes displayed on the 7-segment LED
display refer to RS485 errors or fatal errors where the display
would no longer be useful for displaying address information.
RS485 Incorrect/Duplicate Addresses
This is a Fault condition and indicates that the IntelliVAC MC
system has IntelliVAC MC units with incorrect and/or duplicate
RS485 addresses. The MC address for the individual units must be
changed using the DIP switches on the IntelliVAC MC module (see
Table 8.H and figure 8.2). The RS485 addresses must contain only
the addresses up to and including the maximum number of units in
the MC system. For example, in an MC system with three units,
there must only be addresses ‘2’ and ‘3’ selected by the two
IntelliVAC MC modules, as address 1 is already defined by the
IntelliVAC Plus unit. If addresses ‘2’ and ‘2’ are selected
(duplicated addresses) or addresses ‘2’ and ‘4’ (incorrect addresses)
are selected then this Fault code will be displayed.
The 7-segment display will display the solid character ‘-1’.
