SPEED/MUL TIPLY Selectsan axis feedrate or axisfeedamountmultiplication ratioused in themanualmode. Each
selection modifiestheactivefeedrateby a value setin AMP. Modificati on also depends on thesetting
of<JOG SELECT> asdescribed below:
• HANDWHEEL
When in handwheel jog mode,SPEED/MULTIPLY alters thehandwheelresolutionbyafactor
determined in AMP. Your system installer sets the value for:
-LOWX1
-MEDLX10
-MEDLX100
You cannotusethe valueslisted below forhandwheel jog:
-MEDHX1000
-HIGHX10000
• INCREMENTAL
When in incremental jog mode,SPEED/MULTIPLY alters theincrementaljog distance
byafactorset
in AMP by your system installer. Your system installer setsa value for the selections. The
incremental jog speed
isfixedtomedium butcan stillbecontrolled by
<FEEDRATE OVERRIDE>.
• CONTINUOUS
When in continuousjog mode,SPEED/MULTIPLY acts as a feedrateselection switch which has
values set in AMP by your system installer. Your system installer sets a value for all 5 selections
independentlyforeachaxis. <FEEDRATE OVERRIDE> canbeusedfor speedadjustments.
Important: The values for the dif ferent <SPEED/MULTIPLY> selections are configured by your
system installer.
