Table 2.D lists the time part screen fields and their definitions.
Table 2.D
Time Part Screen Field Definitions
Field: Definition:
Program indicatesthecurrently active partprogram,displayedautomaticallyby thecontrol.
Date indicatesthecurrentdate setting.
Time indicatesthe current24-hourtime setting. You can change thetime setting provided thatyou
havesupervisor-levelaccess.
Power-onTime/Overall indicatesthe total accumulatedtimethatthecontrolhasbeen ON. This value is savedin
backupmemoryeach timethecontrolispowered off, soitis restoredat itspreviousvalueeach
timethe controlis turnedON.
WorkpiecesCut/Overall indicatesthetotal number ofpartprogramsexecutedto completion bythe control. Usethisfield
todeterminetheneed for periodiccheckupsoras a statementof warranty. This counteris
incremented by one each timethe controlencountersan M02,M30or an M99 in a mainpart
program(M99 in a subprogramdoes notincrementthis counter, butM02or M30 does).
Run Time indicatesthetotal accumulatedtimethatpartprogramswere executingwith the control in
automatic mode. Use thisfield with“Power-onTime/After Reset”to estimate theutilizationratio
ofthe machine.
Power-onTime/After Reset indicates the total accumulated timethatthe controlhas been ON. This value issavedin
backupmemoryeach timethecontrolispowered off. Itis restoredto itsprevious valueeach
timethecontrolisturned ON. Use thisfield with“RunTime”to estimate the utilization ratioof
themachine. T he value forthisfieldiscleared tozerowhen you clearthe“Run Time”field to
zero. You cannotclearthis fieldi ndependently.
Cycle Time indicatestheelapsedexecutiontime foreach individual partprogram. Cycle timebegins
counting when the cycle-startbutton is pressed and ends when an M02 resetor M30 is
encountered. To resetthisfieldto zero
,use the cycle-start button to initiate programexecution,
turnoffpowertothe control,orfollowthe clear/reset procedure.
WorkpiecesCut/After Reset indicatesthe total numberof partprograms executedto completionby thecontrolsincethe last
time“Run Time”was reset. T his counteris incrementedby one each timethe control
encountersanM02,M30oranM99in a main partprogram(M99in asubprogramdoesnot
incrementthiscounter, though M02orM30 does). The value forthisfieldiscleared tozero
when youclearthe “RunTime” field tozero. You cannotclear thisfieldindependently.
LotSize indicatesthenumberof timesyou need toexecutethis particularpartprogram.
RemainingWorkpieces indicatesthenumberof workpiecesthatstillneedtobe cutinthelot. The valueforthisfield is
automatically setequal to thelotsize eachtime the “LotSize”valueis changed. When the
control encountersanM02,M30,or M99 in a mainpartprogram,the remainingworkpiecesfield
is decrementedby one. The control tellsthe systeminstallers PAL programwhen thelot
remainingsize iszero. Atthispoint, press<CYCLE START> toautomatically setthefield
backto the“LotSize”value. Completeoperationofthisfeature is somewhatPAL dependant.
Refer to the documentation supplied by your system installer .
LotCompletion Flag isautomaticallysettozeroby the control whenevera non-zerovalueis enteredfor“LotSize.”
Itis setto one when the“Remaining Workpieces”fieldreaches zero. Itis again resetto zero
when the next cycle startoccurs after the remaining workpieces field has reached zero.
Completeoperationofthisfeature is somewhatPAL dependant. See thedocumentation
supplied by your system installer.
