Message Description
CYLIND/VIRTUALCONFIGURATIONERROR Anaxisconfiguration errorwas detectedbythecontrolwhen cylindricalinterpolationor end face
millingwasrequestedinaprogramblock. Someexampleswouldinclude:
Acylindrical/virtual axisis named sameas a real axisor is missing(forexampleon a
latheA, thecylindricalaxismay havebeennamedthe sameas a incrementalaxis name).
Acylindrical/virtual axisis named thesame asanotherprogramingcommand(forexample
a secondaryauxiliaryword, theangleword,etc...).
D
D-WORD ISGREATERTHANTOOLDIA. The programmed D-wordvalue is greaterthan thetool diameterof thecurrenttool.
D-WORD ISLESS THAN AMP THRESHOLD The D-word has been programmedwith a valuethatistoosmall.
D-WORD OUT OF RANGE Morethan 1000 auto-dressoperationswerespecifiedbytheD-word in a grinderfixed cycle.
DACMONITORCIPCON This messagecomesup on power-up, after patch AMPhas been modifiedto invokeDAC
monitori ng of thecoarse incremental position command.
DACMONITORF.E.ON The axis-following error isbeingoutputtotheDAC outputportformonitoringand debugging.
Turningparameters86 or 87 ON throughpatch AMPenables thisoutput.
DACMONITORFV ON Thismessage comes up on power-up,afterpatchAMPhasbeen modified toinvoke DAC
monitoring ofthe finei nterpolatedfinal velocityforeachfine iteration(20ms).
DACMONITORINTEGRATOR ON Thismessage comesup on power-up,afterpatch AMPhas been modifiedto invokeDAC
monitoring ofthe velocityerrorintegratoraccum.
DACMONITOR VELERROR ON Thismessagecomesup on power-up,afterpatch AMPhas been modifiedto invokeDAC
monitoringofthe velocityerror.
DACMONITORVELOCITYON The axisvelocitycommandisbeing outputtothe DACoutputportfor monitoringand
debugging. TurningON parameters86 or 87 throughpatch AMPenables thisoutput.
DATA MAYBE OUT PUT TO PRINTERONLY The information being outputbythe controli s intended togotoa printer. Make surethat the
outputportthatisselected is properlyconnectedto a printerand tryagain.
DATASTAR VED The controlis waiting forthe nextprogramblockto setup. Typically, thisis theresultofthe
control executing a partprogramfasterthan itcanbe read froma peripheral devicesuchas a
tapereader. This erroroftenoccursimmediatelyafterthe executionof severalveryshort,
rapidly executed blocks. To prevent this error from reoccurring, it is recommended that the
programbe loaded into control memoryor toa fasterperipheral device.
DECIMAL POINT ERROR Awordor parameterhas been programmedwith morethan one decimalpoint.
DECIMAL POINT NOT ALLOWED A word or parameter has been programmedwitha decimalpoint when itcanlegally existonly
asanintegervalue . F or example,the numberofrepetitions(L) mustbe an integervalue
programmed withoutadecimal point.
DEFAULT AMPLOADED ThisindicatesthatthedefaultAMPvaluesstoredin the control’sexecutive memory have been
activated. AMPin RAMandAMPinBackup memorywereeither unavailableorcorrupt. This
message can also occur if the battery backup fails.
DEFAULTS LOADED T he defaultdeviceset-upparameterswere loaded into thecurrentdevice.
DEPTH> PROGRAMMED ENDPOINT This erroroccursduring a threading cycle when the depth of thecut exceeds the programmed
finaldepthof thread.
DEPTH PROBE AXISMUST BE LAST Adaptivedepthprobe i s not AMPedas the lastaxisin the system. Itmust be AMPed afteral l
normalaxis and afterthe deskewslave and beforeanyspindles. Refer toyourAMPreference
manualfordetails.
DEPTH PROBE AXISNOT AMPED A G26 (adaptivedepth probe)move was programmed but no adaptivedepth probe axishas
been specified in AMP. Refer toyour 9/Series AMPreferencemanual.
DEPTH PROBE FB GEARING NOT 1:1 T he AMPconfigured gear ratio forthe logical axisusedas a depth probemustbe a one toone
ratio. “ResetTeethon Motor Gear for Pos.FB” and “Teeth on Lead ScrewGear forPos.FB”.
