Message Description
TOO MANY NONMOTION CHAMFER/RADIUS BLOCKS Toomanynon-motionblocksseparate the firsttoolpaththatdeterminesthe chamferor radius
size(programmedwith a ,Ror,C) fromthe secondtool path. A maximumnumberof
non-motionblocks is setin AMPby the system installer. A non-motion blockisdefinedas any
blockthatdoesnotgenerateaxismotioninthecurrentplane.
TOO MANY POCKETS IN ROUGHING CYCLE A maximum of2pocketscan existin a roughing cycle.
TOO MANYQPP NONMOTION BLOCKS Too manynon-motionblocksseparatethe firstand secondtoolpaths withunknown
intersectionsin QuickPath Plus. Amaximumnumber ofnon-motionblocksis setin AMPbythe
system installer. A non-motion block is definedasany block thatdoes notgenerate axis motion
in thecurrentplane.
TOO MANYSHAREDSPINDLES Toomany spindleswerespecifiedasbeing shared by twoor more processes.
TOO MANY SPINDLES Morethan one spindleisconfigured on the control.
TOO MANY SUBPROGRAM CALLS Themaximum number ofnested sub-programswas reached. Only 4 sub-programsmaybe
active atany one time.
TOOL CONFIGURATION WILL NOT FIT When assigninga customtool in the randomtool table, the numberof pocketsassigned tothe
toolrelativetothe positionof theselectedshaft pocketwill conflictwithadifferenttoolalready
assignedto a pocket. Ifthecustom tool istobe assigned as entered, itmustbe assigned toa
differentshaftpocket,or thetoolthatconflictswiththecustomtoolslocation mustbe moved.
TOOL ENTRYEXCEEDS LIMIT Theselectedtoolnumber enteredis greaterthan the AMP’ed maximumtool number enteredby
the system installer.
TOOLGROUPDOESNOT EXIST Anattemptwasmade to editatool group in thetool lifemanagementtablesthatdoes not yet
existin the tooldirectory. A groupmustbe createdbyusingthe {TOOLDIR}softkeyoptions.
TOOL OFFSET CHANGES NOT ALLOWED During certaincycles,G10 toolchange operationsare not allowed.
TOOLOFFSETREQUIRESMOTIONBLOCK A tool offsetcannotbechangedinanon-motionblock. A non-motionblock is anyblockthat
doesnotgenerate axismotion in thecurrentplane.
TOOL RADIUSTOO LARGE The programmed tool radius in a G88 or G89 pocket cycle is too large for the pocketcontour . A
smallerradius toolmustbe used to machineout thecurrentpocketcontour.
TOOL RADIUSTOO SMALLF OR POCKETSIZE The programmed tool radius in a G88 or G89 pocket cycle is too small for the pocket contour.
Eitherselecta larger tool forthe pocketcontouror reduce theamountofmaterial to be removed
each rough cut ofthecycl e.
TOPOF PROGRAM REACHED W hen performingone of the programsearchoperations, thefirstblock in theprogram hasbeen
reached.
TRAVERSENOT ALLOWED ON : Anattemptwasmade to movean axis atrapidtraversebeforeitwas been homed. T his only
appliestoaxes thathave software overtravel limits.
TYPE1 INTERRUPT INCOMPATIBLEWITH G24 This messageoccurswhen returningfrom a type1programinterruptthatpreviouslyinterrupted
a G24 block. The interruptis allowed howeverthereturnmove isinvalidsince theaxiswas
previouslyin theG24 mode. You mustmanuallyinterveneto continueprogramexecution. We
recommendswitching to a type2 programinterrupt.

UART PORT ISALREADY OPEN The requestedserial communicationsporthasalreadybeen opened. This messagewill appear
ifan attemptis madetosend datatoa portthatis currently being used.
UNABLETO OPEN PROGRAM The control cannotfind theprogramthatis requested. Makesure the programname is entered
correctly ortheperipheral devicehasthe correctprogramsloaded in it.
UNABLETO OPEN THE UART PORT Aserialcommunication porterrorhasoccurred;retry. T he conditionsthatcanlead tothis error
areunusualand generallywill not existwhen a secondattempt ismadeto open theport. Ifthis
erroris generatedcontinuously,it indicatesthatthere maybe a communicationsporthardware
failure.
